Una collisione controllata tra la visionaria sperimentazione del progressive rock anni Settanta e l'impatto emotivo dell'alternative metal degli anni Novanta. I Moondome trasformano suggestioni cosmiche e profondità oceaniche in un viaggio sonoro intenso, cinematografico e imprevedibile.

Nati nell'entroterra romagnolo, i tre musicisti fondono percorsi artistici differenti, influenze complementari e una comune ricerca espressiva per dare vita a un universo musicale sospeso tra materia e infinito. Le loro composizioni costruiscono atmosfere vorticosi, paesaggi sonori in continua evoluzione e narrazioni capaci di trasportare l'ascoltatore oltre i confini della realtà quotidiana.

A coronare un percorso in costante crescita, alla fine di settembre 2026 i Moondome sono entrati ufficialmente nel roster di Rebel Records, avviando un nuovo capitolo della loro avventura artistica e portando la loro visione musicale verso traguardi sempre più ambiziosi.

JEOVA

Jeova è il singolo che apre le danze dell'album, un brano in continuo crescendo nel quale si inizia a sprofondare negli abissi della psiche. Non rappresenta soltanto l'inizio del disco, ma anche quello del concept nascosto al suo interno: The Void Saga.

È una partenza ritualistica in cui i "Figli della Luna", guidati dal "Padre" e dalla "Madre", iniziano a esplorare, sotto forma di mantra, ciò che costituisce la loro mera esistenza. Sensazioni, inquietudini, pensieri di varia natura e quelli che sembrano essere ricordi mai vissuti personalmente si insinuano nelle loro menti e nei loro spiriti.

ALL DIVING

All Diving, il secondo brano, prosegue la storia di questi Figli della Luna, lasciati ad affrontare, in un vortice dissonante e discontinuo, emozioni primordiali e istintive inculcate dai loro custodi. L'ossessione e la possessione, personale e impersonale, si fondono dall'interno verso l'esterno e viceversa, generando un intenso desiderio, quasi masochista e sadico, rivolto al Vuoto. Un desiderio che spinge a gettarsi in esso, dimenticando quasi del tutto le conseguenze che tale azione potrebbe comportare.

VOID FLOATING

Void Floating rappresenta un primo punto di svolta, un momento di lucidità che si annida lentamente nella mente dei Figli. È la realizzazione della paura risvegliata dalla coscienza, al di fuori del sonno della ragione. Questo porta a nuovi pensieri, nuove comprensioni ed epifanie che evidenziano e quasi denigrano i comportamenti precedenti.

COIL

Coil, pubblicato in precedenza nel 2021, è il singolo più rappresentativo della band ed è il primo brano nel quale si è lavorato alla costruzione del sound che ancora oggi definisce il progetto.

Abbandonando e lasciando morire il primo mantra introdotto in Jeova, il brano ne affronta uno nuovo, generato dalle danze, dai pianti e dal continuo pensare e cantare dei Figli della Luna. I loro sforzi sfociano in diverse epifanie, tutte accomunate dalla stessa conclusione: la loro esistenza è parte di una grande spirale senza fine.

EMBRYO

Embryo è il brano che conclude il concept nascosto all'interno del disco. Uno dei Figli della Luna si ritrova affamato di esperienza e conoscenza, sia di sé stesso sia del mondo esterno. Per questo motivo intraprende un viaggio personale alla scoperta della propria identità.

La persona che incontra lungo il cammino, tuttavia, sembra più interessata a studiarlo e analizzarlo che ad aiutarlo realmente.

GOOD RIDDANCE

Good Riddance affronta in maniera diretta il tema del lutto personale e della necessità di lasciar andare ogni cosa quando arriverà il momento cruciale e definitivo della nostra esistenza.

Si tratta di una riflessione forse cupa, ma profondamente realista, dalla quale è possibile trarre conforto: piangere e sfogarsi è una forma di cura. Avere paura non è un segno di debolezza, ma la dimostrazione dell'amore verso sé stessi. Andare oltre è semplicemente un altro passo del percorso.

WHAT A GROOVY NIGHT

What a Groovy Night è uno dei primi brani composti e sviluppati all'interno del progetto.

Il testo racconta la storia di una persona travolta dal desiderio sessuale e carnale, portato quasi all'estremo psicologico dell'ipersessualità. Lasciandosi andare, si concede a un partner; tuttavia, dopo l'atto fisico, inizia a insinuarsi il dubbio che concedersi in modo così impulsivo, senza alcun coinvolgimento sentimentale, possa essere stata una scelta sbagliata, soprattutto trattandosi della prima volta.

BITTERSWEET

Ispirato al videogioco horror psicologico "Doki Doki Literature Club", Bittersweet è il primo singolo estratto dall'album.

Il brano racconta una storia d'amore dal punto di vista dell'innamorato, una persona che però si sente inadatta al proprio ruolo e cerca in ogni modo di comunicare il proprio stato d'animo cupo e ansioso. L'ascoltatore si ritrova così a vestire i panni dell'oggetto di questo sentimento.

5 STRINGS' SONG

5 Strings' Song è un brano interamente dedicato a Chris Cornell e Chester Bennington. Al suo interno è possibile cogliere diversi riferimenti alle loro opere e ai momenti più significativi delle rispettive carriere, oltre a un richiamo alla loro tragica scomparsa.

Il brano nasce come un sincero tributo e affronta il tema del lutto attraverso gli occhi di un appassionato di musica, di un fan che ha trovato nella loro arte una parte importante del proprio percorso personale.
